Greetings from
The Hooved Animal Sanctuary

In a world of hurt sometimes it seems there’s not much we can do to help. The Sanctuary provides all of us the opportunity to do just that... help.
And, we’ve been doing it for over 14 years. Visit us and see how the relief from pain and suffering shines in the eyes of these wonderful animals. We are nearby, we are your neighbors.
Come along with us and be part of “what’s right” with the world.

For all the animals... thanks for caring.
Molly Fenty, HAS Executive Director

Mission Statement

"The Hooved Animal Sanctuaryis 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer based animal welfare organization established in 2003 to provide a safe, caring sanctuary for abused, abandoned, and neglected hooved animals. We strive to provide for the protection and rehabilitation of neglected animals with the goal of placing them in loving, safe homes while providing ongoing youth and community education programs to deter future animal abuse."

Home Sweet Home!
High in the hills of Chelsea Village there’s a safe haven for animals who have been abused or neglected. It’s a new beginning, a better life. Give us a call. Schedule a visit. See for yourself.

Dental work is a critical part of a horses care. Teeth naturally deteriorate and it’s one of the first things the Sanctuary checks for on all our incoming guests...
the horses, that is!

Most arrivals to the Sanctuary are in desperate need of remedial care on their hooves. Its absolutely critical care and must be done consistently for the life of the animal. It’s only with your help that this important work continues.
